With over 15 years of hands-on experience in IP licensing and capital raise campaigns, Matt knows IP drives business growth, not just a nice-to-have deliverable from R&D. Matt has managed the prosecution and business development of nearly 6,000 issued and pending patent applications. He has helped his partners secure over $115MM in investment capital and has supported or personally closed patent transactions that have earned over $60 MM in combined licensing and patent sales revenues. Matt is one of the top 300 patent strategists in the world as recognized by IAM* with their IAM Strategy 300 Award, and he holds an MBA in Finance from the Keller Graduate School of Management. When Matt isn’t supporting million dollar portfolios, he can be found constructing homes from scratch and spending time with his family in Bellevue, WA.
